Organised every 4 years, the virtual World Biomaterials Congress (WBC), scheduled for 11-15th December 2020 brings together a broad range of experts in the field of biomaterials. Packed with scientific sessions about the latest and greatest in biomaterials, electrospun materials have always taken a central stage in previous events.
For the first time, The Electrospinning Company will be virtually exhibiting at this event and sharing our insights in electrospinning biomaterials. Dr. Marco Thio will be presenting a talk titled “Electrospinning of Biomaterials: An Industry Perspective” during the WBC sponsored symposia. Join us on Friday 11th December 2020 from 11:30am – 12:00pm where we will explore:
- challenges associated with taking electrospinning research out of the lab into the clinic
- the importance of selecting the right raw polymer material, molecular weight, and solvent systems
- the inclusion of additives into the polymer matrix
