The Electrospinning Company is excited to announce the development of the second Symatix Technology material. Next to our Symatix Membrane, the world’s first amniotic membrane substitute for ocular surface regeneration, we have started development of a proprietary membrane for use in soft tissue regeneration.
The membrane comprises of a synthetic nonwoven structure enriched by medical grade biopolymers known to enhance healing. Use in applications such as foot/ankle, upper extremity and rotator cuff repair have very specific demands on the mechanical properties; the network of synthetic fibres unpinning our membrane will allow tailor made solutions for each of these indications and more.
A demonstration of this material will be showcased at this year’s AAOS.
