Sustainability Policy Statement
The Electrospinning Company is committed to operating in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner. We acknowledge that whilst our activities may have adverse effects on the environment, we can take steps to minimise those impacts.
We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint and continually improving our environmental performance by finding ways in which we can reduce the impact of our work.
To comply with and exceed all relevant regulatory requirements, we will: –
• Manage waste generated from our operational activities according to the principles of reduction, re-use, and recycling.
• Prevent over consumption of energy and other resources.
• Incorporate environmental factors into business decisions.
• Provide environmental awareness training to all its employees.
• Ensure we are compliant with applicable environmental legislation and regulations.
• Conduct annual carbon footprint assessments to quantify, analyse, and manage emissions from our operations.
• Monitor progress and review and report on performance annually.
Responsibility and review
While the Chief Executive Officer and Directors are accountable for this Policy, all levels of management and employees are responsible for minimizing the impact of our operations on the environment. The policy is a live document and will be reviewed on a regular basis as The Electrospinning Company grows.
