Dr Rob McKean
Head of Research and Development
Rob is an expert in polymer chemistry and electrospinning. Since completing his PhD he has worked in world class electrospinning laboratories at the University of Sheffield and at the Micro and Nanotechnology Centre based at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratories.
Dr Elena Heister
Senior Research Scientist
Elena is a qualified pharmacist with a PhD in bionanotechology from the University of Surrey. Her expertise lies in the functionalisation of nano- and microstructured materials for tissue engineering and drug delivery, and testing their interactions with mammalian cells.
Erik Fabre
Research Scientist
Erik works as a Research Scientist in our labs at the Micro and Nanotechnology Centre. He holds a MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London and a Diplôme d’Ingénieur from École Centrale de Lille.
