Our Hanging-Insert format allows cells to be cultured with an air-liquid interface. The disk of scaffold can easily be removed for imaging.
For applications involving an interface between two cell types such as blood-brain barrier, the scaffold can be seeded with cells first on one side, then on the other by removing an inverting the disk of scaffold.
