For a typical industrial project we will develop a nanofibre for a specific application, optimise the method of production, develop a scale-up solution for that customer’s volume needs and commence production at our own facility. If appropriate, we will then develop bespoke electrospinning equipment for integration into the industrial customer’s manufacturing process and transfer production to their facility.

Applications

Electrospun nanofibre finds applications in a wide range of industries from life sciences (cell culture, drug delivery, stem cell transplantation) to electronics (lithium ion battery separators, ultracapacitors, hydrogen fuel cells) and from filtration to specialist clothing and technical textiles.

While our technical capabilities can support any of these applications, we are currently concentrating on the life sciences sector.
